"I Am Shocked": Mamata Banerjee On Amit Shah's Ambedkar Remarks

Mamata Banerjee was speaking at the 'Kolkata Christmas Festival' inauguration at Allen Park in the Park Street area and later at a get-together in St Xavier's College.

West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee on Thursday said she was shocked at Union Home Minister Amit Shah's recent remarks about BR Ambedkar and the way he was being "belittled".

Mamata Banerjee was speaking at the 'Kolkata Christmas Festival' inauguration at Allen Park in the Park Street area and later at a get-together in St Xavier's College.

"I am shocked at the comments made about Babasaheb Ambedkar... I feel bad seeing Babasaheb belittled," she said.
