
How potential Jets target Armand Membou has shot up NFL draft boards: ‘Oh my God’

Armand Membou was a name that was not very familiar to Jets fans four months ago. Now? It’s the name most linked to the Jets at No. 7 overall.
The Missouri tackle has been a riser during the 2025 NFL Draft process, going from someone not viewed as a first-round pick to a player now expected to go in the top 10.
How did it happen?
“I think in-season I was late to evaluate him because he was a true junior,” ESPN Draft analyst Matt Miller said. “There wasn’t a whole lot of buzz on him before the season. I was like, alright, true junior, probably not going to come out and then he did.”

Cade Cunningham, almost inarguably the best player in the East this season, is likely out for the remainder of the regular season. That’s the word out of Detroit following the depressing news that Cunningham punctured a lung when he took a knee to his side Tuesday from Washington’s Tre Johnson while chasing a loose ball.

Wednesday was another positive day at Yankees camp. For the first time since March 6, 2025 — an outing in which he knew “something wasn’t right,” which began a weeks-long saga that ended on the operating table for Tommy John surgery — Gerrit Cole was back on a mound and facing hitters in game action.
