How Joe Flacco feels about possibly joining Steelers as Aaron Rodgers uncertainty lingers
NY Post
Could Joe Flacco be poised to complete his AFC North tour?
Speaking recently on “The Bmore Football Podcast,” the 41-year-old quarterback — who won a Super Bowl during his 11-year run with the Ravens and played for both the Browns and Bengals this season — was asked about the possibility of suiting up for the Steelers, the one AFC North franchise he has yet to play for.
“I do think that having a Pittsburgh Steelers jersey on will be a little bit more strange than even a Browns or Bengals jersey, for whatever reason,” Flacco said this week. “But at this point, I’m open to pretty much most things if I can see an opportunity in it.”
Flacco, who won Super Bowl 2013 with the Ravens, signed up for a second stint with the Browns in free agency last year.
He was benched for rookie Dillon Gabriel in October — the same month he was traded to the Bengals amid Joe Burrow’s toe injury.
Flacco threw for 2,479 yards in 13 games between the Browns and Bengals, tossing 15 touchdowns and 10 interceptions.

SAN DIEGO — As you may have seen elsewhere in this newspaper (and also if you haven’t deleted me yet from your social media), I have a book coming out Tuesday called “The Bosses of The Bronx.” Much of it details the 37 years’ worth of antics, winning, losing, winning again and overall mania of George Steinbrenner’s time with the Yankees.

Cade Cunningham, almost inarguably the best player in the East this season, is likely out for the remainder of the regular season. That’s the word out of Detroit following the depressing news that Cunningham punctured a lung when he took a knee to his side Tuesday from Washington’s Tre Johnson while chasing a loose ball.

Wednesday was another positive day at Yankees camp. For the first time since March 6, 2025 — an outing in which he knew “something wasn’t right,” which began a weeks-long saga that ended on the operating table for Tommy John surgery — Gerrit Cole was back on a mound and facing hitters in game action.
