The Ajit Agarkar-led selection committee announced the team of 15 and four travelling reserves. The selectors have picked 4 proper batters, 2 wicketkeepers, 4 allrounders, 2 wrist spinners and three frontline pacers. However, the exclusions of explosive batter Rinku Singh and leggie Ravi Bishnoi have been one of the biggest talking points since the squad was announced on Tuesday.
Wicketkeeper-batter KL Rahul was another player who missed out on selection while young opener Shubman Gill only made it to the list of travelling reserves, also including the likes of Khaleel Ahmed, Rinku Singh and Avesh Khan.
