
Hourslong standoff ends with Houston police shooting suspect taken into custody

An hourslong standoff ended Thursday night when Houston police took into custody a man suspected of shooting three officers, officials tweeted.
Police tweeted they would have more information about the arrest at a media briefing.
The three officers were in stable condition at a hospital and they are in good spirits and talkative, Mayor Sylvester Turner said.
