
HMC's telephone service for elderly plays vital role during pandemic

Doha: Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC) has reaffirmed public about a telephone service to reassure the safety of vulnerable elderly people during COVID-19 pandemic.
HMC on its social media accounts said that as part of the ‘Elderly Telephone Reassurance Services’ by Department of Geriatric and Long Term Care, a healthcare professional will contact people over the age of 60 years with chronic health conditions. The ‘Elderly Telephone Reassurance Services’ workers communicate with the elderly to check on them, introduce them to the services provided by the institution, learn about their health and medical problems and provide appropriate advice to them.More Related News
