Highway 174: 'Road all patched up'

Ottawa Police Service says officers were on scene assessing an “infrastructure failure" along Highway 174 Sunday morning.

It happened in the merging lane on the 174 where you get on to 10th line.Police note that there was very minor damage to the road.

It has since been "all patched up," police told CTV News Ottawa.

"It's not that big of a deal," Ottawa police said.

Meanwhile, the City of Ottawa told CTV News the issue police were referring to is a "pothole which has since been repaired."

Roads are now open in both directions.
