A jury of 14 people has been selected in Derek Chauvin's trial in the death of George Floyd, and while the jurors are unnamed and unseen on camera, we do know basic details about them.
Five men and nine women have been chosen to serve on the jury during the trial in Minneapolis. Of the 14 jurors, eight are White, four are Black and two are mixed race, according to information released by the court. Two of the jurors -- both White women -- were chosen only as alternates and so were dismissed by the judge prior to deliberations.
The two men killed as they floated holding onto their capsized boat in a secondary strike against a suspected drug vessel in early September did not appear to have radio or other communications devices, the top military official overseeing the strike told lawmakers on Thursday, according to two sources with direct knowledge of his congressional briefings.

Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth risked compromising sensitive military information that could have endangered US troops through his use of Signal to discuss attack plans, a Pentagon watchdog said in an unclassified report released Thursday. It also details how Hegseth declined to cooperate with the probe.
