Varun took to Instagram, his pic with his father David Dhawan and it has taken over the internet. He can be seen seeking the blessings of his father by touching his feet and kick-starting the year 2022. Varun captioned the post, "This year take all the blessings. Happy new year." The post got a lot of love from the actor's celeb pals, host-actor Maniesh Paul commented, "Meri taraf se bhi please touch his feet!!! will come soon personally" Also, Aparshakti Khurana and Sahil Vaid shared their love on the post by commenting with heart emojis.

Varun made his Bollywood debut with Student of the Year almost a decade back but it wasn’t until Main Tera Hero in 2014 that he first worked his father. Varun’s last release was his father’s film Coolie No 1 back in 2020.
