Discover the Audi Q7, a luxury SUV defining Audi's success in India with updated design and advanced features.

The Audi Q7 has been a cornerstone of Audi’s success in India, shaping the brand’s identity in the luxury SUV segment. Since its introduction, it has become a defining model for the German automaker. Audi India crossed the milestone of 1,00,000 units in cumulative sales in 2024 with the Q7 accounting for 10% of these numbers. This underscores its importance in the line-up.

According to Audi India, the average age of a Q7 buyer in India is 42, reflecting a relatively younger demographic among luxury SUV buyers. Furthermore, 35% of Q7 customers are repeat buyers, signalling high levels of satisfaction and loyalty. With over 10,000 units sold in India to date, the Q7 remains a popular choice in the segment.

The new Audi Q7 introduces several design updates to enhance its visual appeal and road presence. The updated single-frame grille now features a vertical droplet inlay design, flanked by redesigned air intakes and bumpers. Matrix LED headlamps with dynamic indicators offer improved visibility and a modern aesthetic.

At the rear, the updated diffuser and redesigned exhaust system trims add to the vehicle’s refreshed appearance. The Q7 now features Audi’s updated 2D rings on the front and rear, marking the brand’s evolving identity. The new 20-inch alloy wheels with a twin-spoke design further contribute to its overall styling.

Inside, the Q7 offers a spacious and well-appointed cabin. Customers can choose between two interior colour options: cedar brown and saiga beige. The seven-seater layout includes electrically foldable third-row seats for added practicality. Notable features include the Bang & Olufsen premium 3D sound system, equipped with 19 speakers and delivering 730 watts of output. The Audi virtual cockpit plus, a fully digital instrument cluster, adds to the tech-savvy feel of the interior. Other highlights include the MMI navigation plus system, four-zone climate control with air ionizer, and an Audi phone box for wireless charging. Practical elements like park assist plus with a 360-degree camera and a sensor-controlled boot lid enhance convenience.

The Q7 is powered by a 3.0L V6 TFSI engine producing 340 hp and 500 nm of torque. It includes a 48V mild hybrid system aimed at improving efficiency. The SUV accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.6 seconds and has a top speed of 250 km/h. Equipped with Audi’s quattro all-wheel-drive system, the Q7 provides consistent traction and stability in varied conditions. The adaptive air suspension and Audi drive select system, offering seven driving modes, allow drivers to tailor the driving experience to their preferences. The eight-speed tiptronic transmission ensures smooth power delivery and seamless gearshifts.

Safety remains a priority, with features such as eight airbags, lane departure warning, and an electronic stabilisation program. For added convenience, adaptive windscreen wipers are included. Apart from that, the Q7 is built on a solid platform that conforms to stringent crash test norms.
