Heat Wave Linked To At Least 116 Deaths In Oregon

Parts of The Pacific Northwest saw record-breaking temperatures in the triple digits.

Lately, Oregon has gotten pretty familiar with triple digit temperatures. Portland hit a record high of 116 degrees and heat related deaths are climbing. The Oregon state medical examiner said 116 people have now died from last month's heat wave in The Pacific Northwest. A new scientific analysis found that this heat wave was virtually impossible without human caused climate change.
