‘Heartbreaking’: Music composer Devi Sri Prasad mourns demise of KK, Sidhu Moose Wala

In an exclusive interview with India Today, music composer Devi Sri Prasad said that he was heartbroken over the demise of singer KK and Sidhu Moose Wala.

In an exclusive interview with India Today, music composer Devi Sri Prasad, popularly known by his initials DSP and credited with blockbuster songs OO Antava and Srivalli from the movie Pushpa, said that he was heartbroken over the death of singer KK.

DSP said, “It’s so scary and heartbreaking. KK Ji was very close to me. With him I had some of my biggest blockbusters. He was such a down-to-earth and talented person.”

The music composer further said, “ The unbelievable fact is that two days before, I had a show in New York and people screamed for a few songs and all of them happened to be KK Sir and my combination. One was - feel my love. I sang all the songs on his behalf and thought of him.”

Speaking on the death of Punjabi singer, Sidhu Moose Wala, he said that it was very unfortunate.

“Very young, very talented ,very unfortunate. It’s a very bad time for the Indian music industry. We have lost a lot of gems,” DSP said.
