A 17-year-old girl's body was found inside a water tank on the roof of her own house in Haryana's Yamunanagar district.

The body of a 17-year-old girl was found inside a water tank kept on the roof top of her own house in Haryana's Yamunanagar district, police said on Saturday.

The family came to know about the matter when the water supply in the tap completely stopped and the deceased's sister went to check upstairs if something got stuck. She found the lid of the water tank half open and half closed.
