Harsh Varrdhan Kapoor Reacts To Tweet Calling His Abhinav Bindra Biopic "Predictable"

A Twitter user on Wednesday commented on actor Harsh Varrdhan Kapoor's choice of filmography and it certainly did not sit well with the Thar actor. Reacting to one of Harsh Varrdhan's earlier tweets, a Twitter user wrote, "Why are you going dramatised and highly unrealistic biopics, especially of a sports personality? They all follow a template which is so predictable. It's mundane!" Reacting to the query, the actor clarified that the biopic of Abhinav Bindra, an Indian Olympic gold medallist and Padma Bhushan recipient, will not follow a template as the sportsman's story "doesn't lend itself to a dramatised unrealistic piece". His tweet read, "If you've seen any of my films then you'd know that the Bindra film won't be like any Bollywood biopic that's been done previously his story doesn't lend itself to a dramatised unrealistic piece quite the opposite." For those seeking context, in his next project,  Harsh Varrdhan will be playing the role of shooter Abhinav Bindra and his father Anil Kapoor will be playing the role of Abhinav's father Apjit Bindra. The movie will be an adaptation of Abhinav's autobiography, namely A Shot at History: My Obsessive Journey to Olympic Gold and Beyond. Abhinav Bindra is the first and one of only two Indians to win an Individual Olympic Gold Medal.
