Gyms in Delhi gear up for reopening, owners look to recoup losses

Gym owners in Delhi are looking to recoup losses with gymnasiums set to reopen from Monday onwards after months of closure due to the Covid lockdown.

Amid dipping positivity rates in Delhi, the Arvind Kejriwal-led government has decided to further relax lockdown restrictions which were imposed when the second wave of Covid-19 gripped the national capital region. The Delhi Disaster Management Authority (DDMA) on Saturday issued fresh guidelines for phase 5 of Delhi ‘unlock’. The relaxations will come into force from 5 am on Monday.
