Gujarat to witness heavy to very heavy rainfall on Dec 1, 2: IMD

The IMD has predicted heavy to very heavy rainfall for Gujarat on December 1 and 2.

Parts of Gujarat will witness heavy to very heavy rainfall on December 1 and 2, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted. The IMD has issued an orange alert in Gujarat's Anand, Bharuch, Navsari, Valsad, Amreli and Bhavnagar districts for December 1 and a yellow alert for December 2.

The rainfall is expected to start on November 30 owing to an active Western Disturbance (WD) and is likely to affect northwest and adjoining central India from the night of November 30.
