Gujarat Board announces marking criteria for GSEB Class 12 results

The Gujarat Board announced the marking criteria for the GSEB Class 12 result calculation soon after CBSE’s marking scheme was released.

The Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSEB) has recently announced the marking criteria for Class 12 students this year, as the board exams in the state stand cancelled due to the Covid-19 pandemic situation. The GSEB Class 12 marking scheme was released soon after the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) decided to announce the evaluation criteria yesterday, June 17, for Class 12 students across the country. Thus, the Gujarat state board adopted the 25:25:50 marking formula for Class 12 students, as opposed to the 30:30:40 marking formula presented in the Supreme Court yesterday by CBSE.
