Lord Govindarajaswamy appeared as Kalyana Venkateswara Swamy during Tirupati's Teppotsavam celebrations, blessing devotees in a grand procession.
Lord Govindarajaswamy appeared to devotees in the attire of Sri Kalyana Venkateswara Swamy on the third day of Teppotsavam celebrations in Tirupati on Wednesday. Along with the idols of two deities – Lord Krishna and Goddess Andal — he took a ride on raft in Pushkarini and then took a procession through the four streets of the temple and blessed the devotees.
Hindu Dharma Prachara Parishad (HDPP), a wing of Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) that actively promotes and protects Sanatana Dharma, organised bhajans, Harikatha and other musical programmes on the occasion. Pedda Jeeyar Swami, Chinna Jeeyar Swami, Deputy EO Shanti, AEO Narayana Chowdhury, and a huge number of devotees participated in the programme.
