GOP Shad White seeks reelection as Mississippi auditor
Fox News
GOP Shad White is seeking reelection as Mississippi's auditor. He was first appointed in 2019 after winning a four-year term. White was also the first Republican to run for auditor.
"Mississippians clearly want to keep tough, energetic leadership in the auditor’s office," White said in a news release Monday.
Under White, who is also a Mississippi National Guard captain, the auditor's office has investigated misspending of welfare money in the Mississippi Department of Human Services — the largest public corruption case in state history.
