Google Meet has rolled out an interesting update for users who cannot turn off their mics during a meeting. You might have come across people during a class or a meeting who are not able to turn off their mics or forget to do that somehow. People often start having discussions without turning off the mic and sometimes the background noise can disrupt the whole meeting when the mic is turned off. However, Google now has a solution for such problematic participants. The host has now been given the power to mute all participants at once in Google Meet.
Google Meet is rolling out a new feature that would let the meeting host mute all participants at once. The feature has been rolled for Google Workspace for Education Fundamentals and Education Plus domains can now mute everyone all at once in Google Meet. The feature will launch to additional Google Workspace editions in the coming months. The feature will give the host more control by helping them prevent or stop disruptions coming from unmuted users.
