
Gold, Silver price today: Gold observes a marginal high while silver dips

The prices for gold future shares maturing on June 4 stand at a marginal high while rates for silver future shares maturing in the month of July have dipped on the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX). Gold futures rose 0.13 per cent and hit an intraday high of Rs 48,013 on the MCX, whereas silver trading at Rs 71,373 per kg is down by 0.24 per cent. However, in the international markets, gold prices remained steady today as investors awaited the US consumer price data which is to be released later this week. This data will measure the inflationary pressure in the market due to the pullback in treasury yields supporting metal. The price of silver also remains constant at $27.30.More Related News
