Gold and Silver prices today: Precious metal rates fall for second day in a row on MCX; details here

The gold and silver are trading on the lower side for the second time in a row this week. After recording a marginal jump on Wednesday, gold futures maturing on June 4 have witnessed a dip of 0.24 per cent or Rs 118 on the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX). The gold market rate stands at Rs 48,432 per 10 grams on May 28, 2021. Similarly, with a downfall of 0.38 per cent or Rs 276, silver prices maturing on July 5 stand at Rs 71,460 on Friday. Yesterday, after witnessing a jump on Wednesday, the market rates for gold and silver fell. While gold futures stood at Rs 48,751 per 10 grams, silver was at Rs 71,337 per kg, recording a slight dip of Rs 93 or 0.13 per cent on May 27 (Thursday). The gold and silver rates have been fluctuating throughout the week.
