Considering these apps are important, people were left high and dry after the crashing began. But then, Google came through. It was quick to figure out the problem and fixed it sometime later. In line with its discovery that said the Android WebView app is what caused several Android apps to crash on the phone, Google said it has fixed the issue. Android WebView is an Android system app that is responsible for showing web pages over the apps that do not have an inbuilt browser. The app leverages Chrome to offer quick previews of websites that you want to open inside such an app. And since this is an important part of the Android system, Google could not let the issue run rampant. However, despite the fix, some people are still not sure how they can fix the crashing issue on their phone.
