BNN Bloomberg
Globalive is looking to return to the Canadian wireless market with an offer to buy spectrum licenses from former wireless company Xplore Mobile.
Manitoba-based Xplore Mobile, which offered wireless service to customers in the province, shut down in August 2022.
Globalive chairman Anthony Lacavera says he sees Manitoba as a starting point in building a new national independent wireless carrier.
He says Globalive will be participating in the federal government's upcoming spectrum auctions.
