The Gautam Buddh Nagar administration issued a set of new guidelines on Sunday for the relaxation of lockdown or 'Covid Curfew' beginning June 7.
With daily Covid-19 cases dipping, Gautam Buddh Nagar in Uttar Pradesh is slowly moving towards relaxing the ongoing lockdown curbs. Gautam Buddh Nagar on Sunday issued fresh guidelines for relaxations in Covid curfew from Monday (June 7). However, the district will remain under complete curfew on weekends, starting Friday, from 7 pm. The state government announced on May 30 that restrictions on people's outdoor movement and non-essential services would be relaxed in districts with fewer than 600 active cases. Meanwhile, the number of active Covid-19 cases fell below the 600-mark in Ghaziabad district on Saturday, according to the state Covid portal. As of 9 pm, on Saturday, Ghaziabad had 573 active cases, while Noida's neighbouring Gautam Buddh Nagar district had 623, the data showed.More Related News
