Full stadium capacity for Amir Cup final; under-12 need rapid Covid-19 test

Doha: For Amir Cup 2021 Final, Al Thumama stadium, which will host its first match, will be at full capacity. ‘The 40,000 seater will operate at 100% occupancy, in line with public health requirements,” Supreme Committee for Delivery & Legacy’s Rashid Al Khater said in a press conference. “Al Khater also stated that all fans above the age of 12 must show proof of vaccination, whereas fans under the age of 12 must conduct a rapid antigen test 24 hours prior. Masks must also be worn at all times during the Amir Cup Final. Fans can book tickets for the match at http://tickets.qfa.qa. After booking the ticket they need to register for the Fan ID on https://ac21.qa/home. Fan ID is a smart technology identification card that ensures you can attend the Amir Cup 2021 Final. All Qataris, residents and visitors attending the match will need to obtain a Fan ID. You’ll need your Fan ID to enter Al Thumama Stadium on Friday 22 October. Fan ID will also provide free access to the Doha Metro on matchday. To be eligible to attend the Amir Cup 2021 final, fans are required to be: Fully vaccinated against COVID-19 – having received their second dose no later than 7 October 2021, with an Ehteraz app that displays a golden frame or recovered from COVID-19 within one year from 22 October 2021 – with proof provided. Fans under age 12 are required to take a rapid COVID-19 test in a certified medical centre within 24 hours of the match kick-off time. Proof of a negative test result will then need to be shown at the stadium gate on matchday.
