
Fuel depot explosion kills 11, injures more than 80 in Guinea's capital

At least 11 people are dead and more than 80 are injured after an explosion and fire at Guinea's main fuel depot in Conakry on Sunday. The cause of the explosion is unknown.
At least 88 people sustained serious injuries, said Lt. Col. Jean Traoré, technical director of Guinea’s Civil Protection Service. "This assessment is only provisional," he told reporters.
