Red Bull’s Max Verstappen claimed the season-opening pole for the Bahrain Grand Prix on Saturday ahead of seven-time world champion Lewis Hamilton in the Mercedes. Verstappen took his fourth career pole ahead of Hamilton and Valtteri Bottas in the second Mercedes.
