Former basketball players at the University of Michigan have accused deceased athletics Dr. Robert Anderson of abuse, their lawyer told affiliate WDIV.
They are the latest to accuse the doctor, who worked for the university from 1966 to 2003. Anderson, who died in 2008, allegedly subjected student athletes to invasive exams, including unnecessary genital and rectal examinations, according to an independent report released in May that was commissioned by the university. University of Michigan President Mark Schlissel issued a "heartfelt" apology for the abuse after receiving the report.

But beneath this facade lurks anxiety, fear, and frustration, with some even taking preventative measures against a possible attack amid the tension between the United States and Venezuela.

The alleged drug traffickers killed by the US military in a strike on September 2 were heading to link up with another, larger vessel that was bound for Suriname — a small South American country east of Venezuela – the admiral who oversaw the operation told lawmakers on Thursday according to two sources with direct knowledge of his remarks.
