Former NBC News correspondent Kasie Hunt joins CNN

It’s official. Kasie Hunt, the former NBC News correspondent and MSNBC anchor, has decamped for CNN.

Rumors that Hunt was heading for CNN began to spread after the journalist announced her departure on air last month during her MSNBC morning show, “Way Too Early.” CNN officially announced Hunt’s hire on Tuesday, noting that she will join the network as an anchor and chief national affairs analyst.
