Several Victoria police officers, including a forensic identification team, are investigating an incident at a restaurant near the city's downtown Thursday morning.

The Subway restaurant at Blanshard Centre, near the intersection of Bay and Blanshard streets, was behind police tape as investigators collected items from the scene.
Officers were seen taking photographs inside and around the restaurant property.
Investigators donned white coveralls to examine a pair of dumpsters and another garbage bin behind the building.
The Victoria Police Department did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
