Relatives and lawyers for the family of George Floyd knelt in protest on Monday outside the courthouse where the trial is being held for the white police officer accused of killing the 46-year-old Black man. They took a knee for eight minutes and 46 seconds, the amount of time police officer Derek Chauvin was seen on video kneeling on Floyd’s neck.
