
Florida convicted felon charged after fatally shooting machete-wielding man in self-defense

The Bradenton Police Department in Florida charge a convicted felon with possession of a firearm as a felon, after he shot and killed a man in self-defense.
The victim, who has not been named by police, was transported to an area hospital and later pronounced dead. Greg Wehner is a breaking news reporter for Fox News Digital.
Investigators attempted to located 35-year-old Bruce Brooks, who fled the scene after shooting the man, though police said he was not a suspect.
