Florida Attorney General James Uthmeier announced a lawsuit against Starbucks over alleged racial hiring quotas and DEI policies that cross into illegal discrimination.

The lawsuit alleges that in 2020, Starbucks said its "diverse representation goals" were to "hire ‘people of color’ in 40% of retail and distribution center jobs and 30% of corporate jobs by 2025."
