Flash Floods Near Amarnath Shrine After Cloudburst, Rescue Ops On

A cloudburst took place near the holy cave shrine of Amarnath in Jammu and Kashmir on Friday. There are no reports of any casualties so far.

Rescue operation are underway by the National Disaster Response Force or the NDRF and the State Disaster Response Force or SDRF. Other agencies too have joined the effort.

A cloudburst refers to particularly heavy rain in a short period of time over limited geographical area.
