The FBI has served a search warrant at a Georgia election site seeking records related to the 2020 elections, a spokesperson for Fulton County says.
The FBI served a search warrant at the Fulton County Elections Hub and Operations Center in Georgia Wednesday seeking records related to the 2020 elections, a spokesperson for the county said.
The FBI earlier Wednesday said they were conducting court-authorized activity at the facility.
The development comes after President Donald Trump has repeatedly said there was voter fraud in the 2020 election, specifically in Georgia.
"This operation is still actively underway," the Fulton County spokesperson said in a statement Wednesday afternoon.
Last month, the Department of Justice sued Fulton County for access to its 2020 election records, including ballot stubs and signature envelopes.
