FBI investigates ‘inappropriate’ Trump shooting post by person affiliated with agency, director says
Fox News
The FBI director said someone affiliated with agency is being internally investigated after posting something "totally inappropriate" about former President Trump's shooting.
Rep. Chip Roy, R-Texas, asked the director whether "any FBI agents texted, emailed or expressed disappointment that Trump survived the assassination attempt or otherwise editorialized about the assassination attempt?" Sarah Rumpf-Whitten is a breaking news writer for Fox News Digital and Fox Business.
Wray said he was not aware of any agents voicing inappropriate rhetoric, but there had been one instance "of an individual who posted something that I consider outrageous, totally inappropriate, and unacceptable." She is a native of Massachusetts and is based in Orlando, Florida.
