Father abducted after violent home invasion in Hamilton, Ont. leaves one son dead, another injured

A man is dead, his brother is in hospital and father missing after being abducted following an overnight double shooting and violent home invasion in a Hamilton, Ont. neighbourhood.
Hamilton police responded to reports of a shooting at a residence in the area of Glancaster and Dickenson roads shortly before 3 a.m. on Thursday.
When officers arrived on scene, they located two men suffering from gunshot wounds.
Police said the men, who are brothers in their 20s, were transported to hospital with life-threatening injuries.
One man has subsequently died from his injuries, police said.
With the Edmonton Oilers down two goals late in the first period of Game 4, Rogers Place was quiet, fans seemingly bewildered at the early, quick scoring of the Dallas Stars and the slow start by the home team. Ryan McLeod's marker with six-and-a-half minutes in the opening frame left changed all that.
