Lakshya clocked in 17 years of its release on Friday (18 June). The film directed by Farhan Akhtar starred Hrithik Roshan, Preity Zinta and Amitabh Bachchan in lead roles. On its anniversary today, Farhan Akhtar called Lakshya a ‘life experience’, while Preity Zinta recalled it as her ‘toughest film ever’, which she feels proud of. Both of them shared special social media posts to commemorate the film’s milestone. Farhan Akhtar, who is currently looking forward to the release of his upcoming film Toofaan, celebrated 17 years of his directorial venture Lakshya. Sharing a video montage of memorable scenes from the film, he wrote on Instagram, “Forever grateful to the Indian army for supporting us and to the incredibly dedicated & tenacious cast & crew who collaborated on this life experience .. I won’t call it a film, because it’s always been more than that. Lakshya. 17 years (sic).”
