While the actor's association with the project is yet to be confirmed, fans of Shah Rukh Khan and Vijay Sethupathi started sharing tweets about their possible collaboration already. Another fam described the collaboration of both the actors as a "dream combo." Earlier a Pinkvilla report stated that Vijay Sethupathi will play the antagonist in the film. "Vijay Sethupathi is in talks for the role of villain with Jawan makers but nothing is official yet. He is yet to give his nod for the film so there is no truth about him joining the shoot soon in Mumbai.
