The viral photo of industrialist Ratan Tata with a man wearing pilot uniform is not from the the first Tata Air India flight.
A photo of industrialist Ratan Tata, chairman emeritus of Tata Sons, has gone viral. In the photo, he is seen standing next to a man in uniform, onboard an aircraft.
Several Facebook and Twitter users shared this photo with the claim, “This is the pilot flying the first Tata Air India flight. His name is Jehan Dastur. 29th January 2022.”
