Doha, Qatar: Messenger.com announced that starting April 2026, the website will no longer be available for messaging.
In a notice published on the Messenger website, the company also said that the Messenger desktop application is no longer available.
The platform explained that once Messenger.com is discontinued, users will be automatically redirected to facebook.com/messages to continue messaging on a computer through Facebook.
However, users who use Messenger without a Facebook account will still be able to continue their conversations via the Messenger mobile application.
The website also noted that users can restore their chat history across platforms by using their Messenger PIN.
