"Fabricated": China On Microsoft Hacking Charges By US

Defending itself against Microsoft hacking charges, China said US has mustered its allies to carry out unreasonable criticisms against it on the issue of cybersecurity.

China on Tuesday criticised the US for "fabricated" allegations that Beijing was behind the massive cyber attack on Microsoft. "The US has mustered its allies to carry out unreasonable criticisms against China on the issue of cybersecurity, this move is fabricated out of nothing... (and) wholly motivated by political purposes," said foreign ministry spokesman Zhao Lijian.
