Ex-servicemen volunteer to work as Covid warriors in J&K

Adding to the Union Territory administration's existing manpower to combat the deadly Covid-19 virus, nearly 2500 ex-servicemen from Jammu and Kashmir have volunteered to be ‘Covid Warriors'.

Nearly 2500 ex-servicemen from Jammu and Kashmir have volunteered to be ‘Covid Warriors’, bolstering the Union Territory administration's existing manpower to combat the deadly virus. The civil administration has deployed 171 of these volunteers in various districts of the Union Territory. The Deputy Commissioners and Chief Medical Officers of the concerned Districts have expressed their gratitude for the ex-selfless servicemen's service.
