Ex-Jacksonville Jaguars employee Amit Patel filed a lawsuit in New York against FanDuel, claiming the sports betting company preyed on his gambling addiction.
Prosecutors say Patel used the stolen money to fund a lavish lifestyle that included purchasing properties and chartering private jets, but the bulk of the money was spent on online sports gambling. Paulina Dedaj is a Sports Reporter for Fox News Digital.
