Everyone needs to relax when it comes to Zach Wilson
NY Post
The requests in my inbox from Utah radio stations to talk about Zach Wilson have been plentiful since April, when it became clear the Jets were drafting the BYU quarterback with the No. 2-overall pick.
I try to do most of them and they are always very nice people. On Tuesday, I was talking to two hosts on The Zone when one asked this doozy, “If you had to bet, will Wilson work out long term with the Jets?” I felt like saying, “First, let me tell you how the stock market will look in five years, who will win the 2024 presidential election and when Jacob deGrom will actually pitch for the Mets again.”
SAN DIEGO — As you may have seen elsewhere in this newspaper (and also if you haven’t deleted me yet from your social media), I have a book coming out Tuesday called “The Bosses of The Bronx.” Much of it details the 37 years’ worth of antics, winning, losing, winning again and overall mania of George Steinbrenner’s time with the Yankees.

Cade Cunningham, almost inarguably the best player in the East this season, is likely out for the remainder of the regular season. That’s the word out of Detroit following the depressing news that Cunningham punctured a lung when he took a knee to his side Tuesday from Washington’s Tre Johnson while chasing a loose ball.

Wednesday was another positive day at Yankees camp. For the first time since March 6, 2025 — an outing in which he knew “something wasn’t right,” which began a weeks-long saga that ended on the operating table for Tommy John surgery — Gerrit Cole was back on a mound and facing hitters in game action.
