Envoy encourages increased mango exports from India

Ambassador of India to Qatar, H E Dr. Deepak Mittal, attended a virtual inaugural session of “Mango Promotion Program” organised by Agricultural and Processed Food Products Export Development Authority (APEDA) on Wednesday.
In his address, the Ambassador said that Mango being king of fruits is relished by both Qatari and expatriate population in Qatar. He encouraged APEDA registered exporters to explore ways to boost the export of Indian mangoes and other fruits and vegetables to Qatar and assured full support of Embassy of India. He recommended APEDA to organise more such programmes to showcase state-specific products from India.
