Ensure Strict Compliance Of Covid Protocol, Safety Of Kanwar Yatra: Yogi Adityanath To Officials

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Friday directed the officials concerned to ensure strict compliance of the Covid protocol and safety of the Kanwar Yatra of Lord Shiva devotees starting from July 25, according to an official release. The chief minister while reviewing the preparations and security arrangements for the holy Kanwar Yatra-2021 asked for establishing a communication with the Kanwar sanghs in view of the Covid pandemic and to see to it that unnecessary crowds should not gather and proper caution is taken, the release issued said. He interacted with all the divisional commissioners of the state and senior officers of police zones through video conference and gave necessary directions to them. Yogi Adityanath said the month of Shravan is starting from July 25 and in view of this, all preparations should be ensured well in time regarding the Kanwar Yatras to be taken out by the devotees in different districts and through different routes of the state.
