England not reading too much into the series defeats in India, we’re focussing on the big picture: Jos Buttler

England tour of India 2021: Stand-in captain Jos Buttler believes that there is no reason for the world champions to read too much into the series defeats and said that the team is focussing on the bigger picture.

Sam Curran’s heroics in the last stages of the chase had set the stage on fire as both sides orchestrated one of the best ODI contests, something that the scorecard won’t tell you. England lost by a margin of 7 runs after 14 were required of the last over. Sam Curran remained unbeaten on 95 off 83 and kneeled to the ground as the visitors lost the 3rd ODI and the series. England is still very much focused on the big picture stuff and there haven’t reached a panic stage yet, despite the back to back series defeats in India.
