Encounter erupts between security forces and militants in North Kashmir's Bandipora

A gunbattle between terrorists and security forces broke out in the forest area of Sokbaba in Bandipora of Jammu and Kashmir. 

An encounter erupted between security forces and militants in the forest area of Sokbaba with an exchange of fire from both sides in north Kashmir's Bandipora district on Saturday morning. According to police sources, a search operation was launched on Friday afternoon after receiving input about the presence of militants in the forest area.
